The TR100 Torque Activated Unwind Chucks offer high weight capacity
with concentric running. The smooth jaws transmit the torque without
biting into the core. The higher the brake pressure applied, the
tighter the jaws compress the core. The jaws expand concentrically
when the reel is rotated.

Pneumatic Mechanical
Chucks
Atem Pneumatic Mechanical Chucks are available for driven applications
where the use of torque chucks is not possible.
Air is applied to the chuck which fills a pressure chamber and pushes
the piston forward. When the piston travels forward tapped keys
are pushed up on inclined planes which in turn push out the gripping
elements.
When the air is removed a mechanical spring pushes the piston assembly
back and allows the gripping elements to contract.
Core
Plugs

tissue industry. Core Plugs are available to suit individual machines
and individual core sizes. All Webtek UK core plugs utilise a radial
rib design. The ribs are welded to a high tensile steel central
tube.
